Hi everybody, I'm new here. I've looked around for a few minutes and recognize a lot of familiar names and cars! Guess I should have joined this board years ago, but I've always focused on just f-body boards/groups/etc. and haven't ever seen this site til today.

Some of you might be familiar with me, but for those that aren't, I'm Brandon, and I live in Dallas near Love Field. I come from a car family, and as of January 5, 2009, actually own a car of my own that is worth owning! LOL

My mom, sister, and I tend to go to automotive events together, so I normally act as our "online representative" and do all the posting on message boards. My dad lives in Houston and does his own thing in that area.

My mom owns a 2002 35th Anniversary Edition Camaro SS that is her baby (she's the original owner). It's very low mileage, factory stock with a long list of SLP options, and only comes out for drives around the area and for the occasional car show.

My sister owns a 1995 sebring silver Camaro Z28. It's factory stock, low mileage for its age, and it's her daily driver. It's been with us since 1996 and will likely be with us for many years (decades?) to come.

My new car is a 2006 stealth gray (looks teal) Grand Prix GXP. It's all original just like our other cars, has just over 28,000 miles, and is incredible in every way (in my opinion). They're pretty rare, so sometimes I have to point out it has an LS4 325.1 cubic inch V8. :D My previous car was a 2002 Corolla CE that was mediocre in every way... LOL.

My dad has only come up once for a car show, but he has a '92 white Corvette with white interior he likes to race around in and mess up LOL. It's high mileage and modified a lot. He says it's around 400 hp. It's in the back of this pic:

Anyway, we like to go to car shows and sometimes participate in them, so hope to see some of y'all sometime. We like to stay in our own little area of town, so don't make treks to far off suburbs often, but anything in Dallas or Addison is game. :)

If you own an f-body, post a pic! I might recognize the car and/or you!

I think I met you at the Fort Worth F-body show years ago. I think you were parked next to a guy named David who had a '99 Bright Blue Metallic Z28 and you had a white Trans Am. Am I right?

Yes, it's an auto. It has every single option except engine block heater, traction control, performance axle ratio, and t-tops :). 85,500 miles! Pretty low for a car that's been driven daily since new!

Tell me about your car!

Nice. My Z has 113k on the clock and about 87k on the motor, hard top, and traction control. :)

You have a far better memory than I do. That would be me.
